Hello, I'm working with the EVE Online in-game browser. It's a variant of google chrome. Anyway... It doesn't support prompts for basic HTTP authentication. The website I'm using requires basic HTTP authentication due to a number of reasons, but anyway...

I have created a basic username/password form that does a location redirect like this...
PHP Code: [ Select ]
<?php
header('Location: http://username:password@website.com/etc/');
?>

  1. <?php
  2. header('Location: http://username:password@website.com/etc/');
  3. ?>
  4.

... because this browser has no prompt. This works perfectly. The problem is... from there on after, all links have those credentials in them. I would like to get rid of this. Is there any way to recommend to the browser the username/password credentials so they don't stay in the address bar incase anybody tries linking something with their credentials in it? I tried adding a Refresh header without credentials immediately after the Location header, but that failed as expected.

Thanks
