hi, i recently read this article/tutorial on sessions: http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/41/0.php

I must admit that i am amazed on how it improves from using the cookies. I was wondering if it would be possible to put the unique session id on the url bar, say for example the administration area? It would make it much more secure if there was such a thing.

Also, people talk about globals being bad etc, can someone please explain what the globals are and why they are bad?

Yea, you can just put it in the links that they click on.
PHP Code: [ Select ]
echo "<a href=\"admin.php?sid=". sessions_id() ."\">Admin Area</a>";

That should be what you want.
