hi, please someone can help me to solve one problem:

i'm creating a web page with asp's that mantain a session for each user , an mantain a database of who is online, all is ok but when a user close the window, the session keep open and not delete from the database that is online,

my question is: how can i detect with asp's that the user has leave the page, when closing the window.

maybe you could set an active time limit, say if the person doesn't reload their session (view another page) within five minutes they get deleted from the database?

That would probably be the safest bet
