Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to have another subdomain point at a directory.

like:
foo.mysite.com ==> http://www.ispname/~myname

thanks.

-- edit--

I would like to do this with linux(apache):

this is asp:
<%
Select Case Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_HOST")
Case "foo.mysite.com"
Response.Redirect "http://www.ispname/~myname"
End Select
%>

ps.) mod rewrite is on.

In case this is the acceptable conceptual solution and your part is scripting while server party managed by someone else ... than U definitely need this VHOST be defined in Apache conf otherwise as U may understand it would be no more the 404 dummy redirection.
Anyway, it's definitely possible, I personally use it without experience any problems. U need to settle it with your server Admin.
