I bought a template for the new site. Including the Contact form.
But unfortunately I'm at the end of my wisdom. Since I can not see where the email address should be set here goes postal?

HTML Code: [ Select ]
<h2> Contact Form </ h2>
<form action="" id="form"> <fieldset>
<div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- the name -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- your name -" onFocus = "if (this.value ==- your name -) this. value = "/> </ div>
<div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- telephone -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- phone -" onFocus = "if (this.value = =- phone -) this.value = "/> </ div>
<div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- Fax -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this. value =- fax - "onFocus =" if (this.value ==- fax -) this.value = "/> </ div>
<div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- e-mail -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- e-mail -" onFocus = "if ( this.value ==- e-mail -) this. value = "/> </ div>
<div class="rowElem2"> <textarea rows = "40" cols = "30" onblur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- message -" onFocus = "if (this.value ==- message -) this. value = "> - your message - </ textarea> </ div>
<div class="container1">
<div class="fright">
<A href = " #"OnClick =" document.getElementById ("form"). reset () "class =" link-1 "> L & <em> <b> #246; between </ b> </ em> </ a>
<div class="indent-2"> <a href = " #<"OnClick =" document.getElementById ("form"). Submit () "class =" link-1 "> <em> <b> Send </ b> / em> </ a> </ div>
  1. <h2> Contact Form </ h2>
  2. <form action="" id="form"> <fieldset>
  3. <div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- the name -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- your name -" onFocus = "if (this.value ==- your name -) this. value = "/> </ div>
  4. <div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- telephone -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- phone -" onFocus = "if (this.value = =- phone -) this.value = "/> </ div>
  5. <div class="rowElem"> <input type = "text" value = "- Fax -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this. value =- fax - "onFocus =" if (this.value ==- fax -) this.value = "/> </ div>

I don't have the inner working of this form but you should probably don't have to alter it anywhere except where it say form action="".

Possibly.

Code: [ Select ]
<input type = "text" value = "- e-mail -" onBlur = "if (this.value ==) this.value =- e-mail -" onFocus = "if ( this.value ==- e-mail -) this. value = "/>

The idea with the form seems to be that the user declares his own email (and other information) there so that YOU know who sent it and may or may not contact them back. Whats more interesting is where does this form send this info, and how does that code look like?

If the issue is, "how do I make it so this form sends the information to my email" and not "how do I let users enter a email" then thats something usually (ALWAYS?) done on server-side and it is very likely the server-side you would want to work with.
