Ello again,

I have just started learning VB6 and I have just become aware of how much more complicated it is than batch file programming and Autoit script writing.

Im finding it very hard to find help on VB6 commands.
My version of Vb6 dosent come with the MSDN library and I cant find a download for it,so the help tab in my Visual Studio dosent work.

I want to make the same program that I have made in batch using Vb but Im lost as to most of the commands I need.

For starters I want to add a registry value that will disable taskmanager
...............................................
Heres the command in batch .
...............................................
reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /V DisableTaskMgr /T REG_DWORD /D 1 /F
...................................................................................................................

Can anyone explain how I would add the same registry value with a VB command ??

Tnx

Welcome aboard Kewleus
Im still unsure as to how the registry can be edited using Vb but I have found a very useful page containing alot of VB commands.

Check it out

If you figure out how to edit the registry please post back here and let me know.
