vb's great but it depends what your trying to do, try to program a client-server app in VB...
it's a lot easier in c++, but then graphics are rougher in c++ so, what's the best language??

I say it depends on what your trying to accomplish. I guess that's why the pre-prod part is important LOL :D

for my part, I know : c/c++
vb
sql (and Oracle sql plus)
javascript
vbscript

I'm currently looking for a good book on either ADA, Fortran or Delphi.
Old and depreciated languages, just for fun...

I can modify the heck out of them! *lol

No, seriously,
I can write most of my own javascripts if someone hasn't done it for me already.

I can modify ASP, Perl, VB and now PHP with mySQL to get them to mostly do what I want.

I'd say I'm currently best at PHP and I only just started learning it 2 weeks ago. It's the only other one besides javascript I understand enough to write my own code.

Nothing.

I like to sit around, and eat apples along with balance mirrors on my feet. Did I also mention that I want to cut your face off and use it as mine?

Lol, IMadmin! You'll learn all about them in due time...and that's when you'll realize how little you know. I'm about in the same boat as you, though. I know HTML, CSS, and the very basics of JavaScript. Haha, but I also know QBASIC (like that's really going to come in handy someday)! As soon as I take another semester of QBASIC I'll be eligible to take AP Computer Science where I shall learn C++. I'm both excited and scared about that...

Visual Basic
C++
SQL (i.e. MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Prolog
BASIC
C
C#

That's all, I guess.... :oops:
