Oh i don't thin pascal is ugly myself. But a friend of mine does ans he says he prefers python over any other.
I myself like pascal except that it cant do some things i want it to.

asp (I've only created a template engine and a community management script, not used for long time except for small scripts)
php (most of the web related things that I do)
bash scripting (replaced with perl long time ago)
