You guys realize that HTML, XHTML, CSS, JAVA SCRIPT, PHP are not programming languages? Those are just mark-up tags and scripts.
I believe you are partly wrong. JavaScript and PHP are indeed programming languages. They are what are known as Interpreted Languages. The other type are Compiled languages. I agree that HTML, XHTML, CSS are not programming languages, however it is still interesting to know what people can use.

I think the reason it isn't considered (technically it IS a markup language) is because it doesn't have control statements and can't handle variables.

I'm gonna get smarter! (I hope!)
I just got the books I ordered from Amazon this week.
Access 2000 Developer's stuff, two volumes, one for desktop one for enterprise.
Access 2000 VBA Handbook and
SQL 2000 Programming!
My company wants me to develop applications for them, so I'm going for it! I need a raise!

I have to requote Kasracer on this, because I think he has a great point.
I'm starting with what I previously posted . I'll try my hand first with Visual Basic and apply it to Access 2000 and SQL 2000 and go from there.
