Dear Friends

I am working on win32 programming. and having some terrible problems with visual studios. The thing is whenever I code a program it is error free i.e compiles, builds and run perfectly without errors. When somehow I reload the same program i.e 2nd time there is an external error of some type.

------------------Configuration: devcap - Win32 Debug--------------------
LIBCD.lib(crt0.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _main
Debug/devcap.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals
Error executing link.exe.

devcap.exe - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)

Please kindly give the solution or any hints if you have. Ratherly I am new to the visual studios this is why I am having troubles.

Hoping to recieve comments or hints as soon as possible.

With Regards
Yasser

I am assuming you are using C++/C#. This is caused by a function call in your program which doesn't exist. Maybe a misplaced include?

If it runs the first time, then when it reloads it can't run, that basically means for the first time it could find the reference it was looking for. Afterwards, it is unable to.

Sorry, best I can do without any code to look at.

BTW, to let you know... Visual Studio has more issues than a 20yr old Drama Queen. Sometimes re-creating the project from scratch and pasting your code in will work.
