New Yahoo home page design test.

I suddenly became aware in a round about way this afternoon that Yahoo is testing a new home page design. Apparently not everyone is getting it, but I am. In FF 3.0.8 when I try to go to http://www.yahoo.com I am redirected to the new design at http://m.www.yahoo.com but all other browsers goes to http://www.yahoo.com existing home page.

Heres a screen cap of what I get now. Ive been seeing it for long enough that Ive gotten used to it being there. According to this link it may have started some time around September http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/018335.html

newYahoo.jpg

Heres a screen shot with the Apps menu expanded.

newYahooAppsMenu.jpg

Overall, I really like the design. Its very slick, efficient and really easy to navigate around. Honestly since I seldom use IE, I just thought this was the way everyone was seeing it now.

Topic Replies: 8
