Approached to place ads online

Hi everyone,

I am a new webmaster and still pretty much learning alot of stuff around here. I was approaced recently by an online advertising to place a sentecne of text link ads on my webpages. They have offered USD$250 for a year of permenant advertising on 14 of my webpages (home page excluded). Each webpage will show a different ad. Each of this ad has about 4 outgoing links to other sites.

My home page has hit PR3 in 4 mths due to alot of link building work I had done and is still on going. While some of the webpages has hit PR2. I will forsee my homepage hitting a PR4-5 at the next google update at the rate I am building links and content. This would probably cause the PR of the other webpages will increase slightly over the few mths.

Could anyone advise me on whether this is is a good deal or what are the things that i have to take note when dealing with such companies?

Paul

Topic Replies: 0

Thoughts on New System?

Hey everyone,

I currently run the IsMyWebsite free host. We currently have over 10,000 clients and more are joining at an ever-increasing rate. We have developed our own advertising system, designed not to intrude on our clients websites yet effectively bring targeted visitors to your website.

The solution - using 88x31 link buttons the clients can blend into their websites. They end up looking like part of the site, and display related links based on a complex system of keywords.

So, if youd like to reach hundreds of related websites (possibly more) and at the same time helping a relatively new free host make its climb, I urge you to give us a try. If you join right now, youll get 100 free advertising credits - just for taking the time to try something new.

If you decide you like our system and purchase more credits, you pay by results. If no one sees or clicks your ad, it will remain active until you get the results you paid for. Every credit is less than half a cent and guarantees you either one targeted visitor or 1000 appearance of your link.

http://ads.ismywebsite.com/

When youre finished trying it out, please dont forget to send me an email to let me know what you think of the system! (Or you can reply below as well.) Thanks for your time.

Topic Replies: 0

Why Google Only offers CPA program to limited Publishers

How many people in this forum are aware that Google has a version of AdWords that is CPA based rather than CPC based? Apparently it has been around since 2006 and is still in Beta. I just received my invitation to join the beta test, and it got me thinking. Here we have one of the largest advertising networks in the world, and there standard method of operation is all CPC based. If you think about the model, Google is basically the publisher and the ad network. And, it is obviously in there best interest to work in a CPC model.

So, the question is this. Why are so many affiliate programs paid out on CPA basis rather than CPC (or even CPM)? If CPC is still good enough for Google, shouldnt it be good enough for the rest of us?

Topic Replies: 0

There are lots of ways to advertise your business but Advertising inflatables are the fastest growing way of advertising and it works very well for any business.
