Hi
Go easy I am not a programmer! I am able to add simple collapse using jQuery on my movie site however how do I go about adding a Cookie that will remember to keep the boxes open or closed? Any tutorials seem to be non existent on the web.

Thanks. I can not afford the E6750 unless I opt for a cheaper graphics card (I presume 2 ATI's would not equal a 8800GTS?)
8800GTS does however seem like an superb card.

Current System:
AMD 2800 (32 bit)
Geforce 6800 (AGP)
How much improvement would a
Intel Core 2 DUO E6550 2.33GHz
ATI 1950 Pro 512MB
Or should I spend £100 more on:
Athlon 64 X2 5600
NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3

Geforce 6800 (AGP)

No I just thought it would work because I did not know the information existed. The seller has now found out that the mobo is incompatible with high density (128x4) ram and requires low density (64x8) ram. The specs of both of these ram are the same! Exchange on the way for $25.

Just got a 1GB Ram module but is not detected in POST screen in a Abit AN7 (based on an KT7)
I have tried installing it on its own but the PC just beeps at me and fails to boot.
Is it the memory or the motherboard?

I use an popular ASP forum and managed to cut down by changing file names, form buttons and encoding it in hex button and managed to cut down some, but some small bursts still happen. Try reprograming the core variable names and the spam bots will be lost, i know this solved my problems. ;) As in th...

You can change standard page names and form box names but they seem to find their way around. Exactly what I did but it yes it only lasted a week. All decent forums have a email responder system built in so just use that. Spammers never use their own email address. So what is there to be gained... ...

You do not need robots.txt unless you want to exclude pages.
You do not need a XML sitemap becuase there is no benefit to be had other than to possibly reduce your server bandwith costs and I do not think the site has high enough traffic for that.

I can not find a modern AMD compatible 64 bit motherboard with AGP (and ideally PCI-E). I have a 16 pipe AGP graphics card that I do not want to upgrade yet so do you kind people know of any? I do not think AGP bandwidth has even been bottlenecked.

I want to reduce automated sign ups to my forum but I need to know where the attack happens as I want to implement something other than having to enter a code. Does it happens at: A) Spiderd all the way via a link to the register page? B) They use a fixed url like ..../forum/register.asp C) They som...
