No I just thought it would work because I did not know the information existed. The seller has now found out that the mobo is incompatible with high density (128x4) ram and requires low density (64x8) ram. The specs of both of these ram are the same! Exchange on the way for $25.

Is it the memory or the motherboard?

You do not need robots.txt unless you want to exclude pages.

You do not need a XML sitemap becuase there is no benefit to be had other than to possibly reduce your server bandwith costs and I do not think the site has high enough traffic for that.

Some back links have very little PR like Zeal and dont transfer any unless its less than PR1.

Zeal powers Looksmarts non-commercial pages. Looksmart is not used much anymore however Zeal remains the best non commercial website there is. If you have a commercial site then you must submit via Looksmart.

…knowing the US government I would not worry about it from a legal point of view however it’s a good value added feature to have and it means you get some pages indexed in the search engines. This my "accessible" version of my site and its a little OTT and not always 100% accessible but it should be...

Yeah I too have started doing sites for 1024x768 and think its fine as long as you don’t have to horizontally scroll text and are not aiming the site at novice internet users. The site looks good to me but in my personal opinion I don’t like using such dark dirty black shadows but rather more grey. ...

rtchar update times are critical to my movie review site and for every day miss I could potentially lose 200 visitors a day. Its not like a service or shop website. I was lucky enough to get selected by Google News but even though Google news gets my new articles within a day it does NOT include the...

This is a PR3 site and 15 days is expected. If you had more back links this could take you upto 4/5 days but I think you need a lot more back links. To get more back links make a links page and swap with other good Potter sites. One tip that you probably do anyway is place any new pages on the homep...

H1 tag is vital but useless without your site having back links. You need more or a good back link. Make sure you internal pages are proper HTML links with “a href” tag and not accessed exclusively via a JavaScript, Flash or “relative URL dropdown menu” Metta tag description is used only for the res...

I think its excellent if a little too many pixel lines for my taste and the header takes up too much of the screen. Good use of Flash without damaging SEO.

Would you like to swap links with my brothers website ?

Looks good to me... charge what you think people we pay you. I had one of my web design clients pay £300 (about $600) to a guy to add Metta Keywords and a promise to get him number one...right?!*

It’s for quick HTML emails and CSS does not seem to copy across into Outlook as well and even if it did the CSS is terrible unless I actually use DW properly but time prevents me from doing this.

Thanks for your help you have saved me time.

The new Dreamweaver MX 2004 does all the fonts in CSS (really badly!). I need to set it to the pre 2004 version with the old style <font> tags! Has anyone done this before?

..its not for websites!

Your going to get this question from some one so it may as well be me. Why use frames? If you want the scrollbar simply use a layer... if don’t want to reproduce your nav bar every time simply use an server side include.

Also you should not use font tags cos the code is massive.

I am a big Southampton FC supporter and if you live outside the UK it would be rather novel team to support. We have won the FA Cup once upon a time and you always see many goals.please do.

That’s so not an appropriate question because it totally depends on the site. If you have a content rich text then pay per click is pointless. You could buy links if its cheap enough but you got to stick with link exchange, offline promotion and viral marketing. With a site that sells products then ...

You need to get 2, 19" Monitors (1 TFT one Flat CRT) and 1 GB Ram. I have 2 TFT’s at work but TFT has not got the image quality of a Trinitron Flat CRT so at home I have the best of both worlds. 2 monitor’s gives you the power to view your work at full screen on the CRT monitor and the other (TFT) c...

Good idea… I don’t think it has to be PHP because it should be handled client side (cookie?). I should be able to do this in classic ASP or .NET.

Anchor text is the clickable text contained before the </a> tag. It a bad use of the word becuase it can be confused with Anchor links!
Code: [ Select ]
<a href="/">Anchore text here</a>
You may also use ALT text for image links but its not called Anchor text. [code]<a hre...
