I've run complete scans of my computer using Spybot and AdAware both in normal mode and Safe Mode. I used TrendMicro Housecall and that found nothing.

In short, yes, I have.

I renamed it as you had requested. I also emailed trendmicro and they got me some steps to get House Call to work so I am going to run that in a few seconds as well. I was able to write down the error last time it occured - i was too busy trying to get a screenshot that I couldn't get the whole thin...

Funny how Ares.exe is not running in the background and I had uninstalled it quite a long time ago. I do not have any filesharing programs on my computer. I did go in the registry to see what the registry looked like as Symantec says that the value. HKEY Local Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\C...

I randomly have some weird errors come up that will give me 1 minute to get out of all programs and then will restart my computer. It will especially happen when I try and install new programs. I have checked my computer for viruses using Norton AntiVirus and it finds nothing. I have checked it both...

Correct. When you plug in any sort of removable memory it will treat it as RAM. The first time I plugged in my digital camera it did that and I had to tell it to stop.

So I've used Vista and I like it. One of the features I like a lot is the feature where when you plug in removable memory it will treat it as RAM - every now and again it gets in the way but then you can just tell it not to to that specific device... I Love outlook 2k3 i use it every day, only thing better is thunderbird.

I guess I've never really had any problems with spam and I use my email address pretty much for everything other than work email. I do pay for their premium service the 19.95 yearly service and I love that but I sign up for things on that account as well and everything filters in to my junk mail fol...

My friend has a toshiba laptop and it sounds like his hard drive is going out. Sounds basically like it's grinding. Now I know that a few people when this happens in other hard drives you can go ahead and turn them upside down because it's just something with the grease on the bearings or things lik...
