PR doesnt mean jack, I got a domain that doesnt have 1 page higher than a PR1 and it gets a ton of traffic from google. I have several other sites PR4 or higher, that dont get 1/3rd the amount of traffic....

Hi, Ive updated the kernel on my server, did the kernel check to see what versions I had: root@cpanel [~]# rpm -q kernel kernel-2.4.18-27.7.x kernel-2.4.20-19.7 kernel-2.4.20-28.7 then did: root@cpanel [~]# uname -r 2.4.20-19.7 and it shows me im still using the old kernel.... ow can I fix this, as ...

the site will have interviews with musicians, a store, all sorts of stuff and the guy just needs to be able to login to a page, make the post and have the links to it automatically added to the section in question.

i had a problem with my server being slow before and some guy did something with the log files to where they reset or something cause they were getting too big. i just updated cpanel today, and now my sites are slow again like they were before...

I don't think you have to give them Cpanel access necessarily. All you need to do is goto the email section in Cpanel and create an email address for them. Then what you do is send them to yourdomain.com/webmail (I think) and it will prompt them for a username and password to access the online mail...

Hi. Im having a problem with a design element. Due to graphics I have made the page width 800pixels, and want the height to always fill 100% of the screen. How can I accomplish this? I have set table height to 100% but on a few of the pages, it comes up well short.

My server uses CPANEL and I was wondering whether or not there is a way to let users check their email online, like hotmail. A login page or something so they don't have to set the email up on there PC if they don't want to.

i think the majority of the people want/get the latest and greatest, not for need, they just want it cause they want the "best" or fastest/newest.... I'd be willing to bet 90% or more of pc users wouldnt need more than a 1Ghz...

stick in a boot disk, if u dont have one go to http://www.bootdisk.com and download the stuff to make one. boot to the disk, select boot with cdrom support. then when you get to the a:\ prompt, type in FDISK. you will want to delete all partitions, then create a new partition and use the max space a...

ok, tried chkdsk /r and it tells me scandisk is more proficient. so, i ran scandisk, and everything comes up clear.

yea, it was chkdsk, got the command backwards... but I did run it, with no problems... i just picked up a 120GB drive the other night, and am using it as an extra drive. the drive my OS is on, is a 60GB. drive, if I were to switch them around, the 2 drives, would this "non paged area" affect anythin...

depending on what version of nero you have, you might have to switch into nero express (i know this is an option for nero 6, not sure about older versions). from there you can select video, and then there should be options for vcd,svcd and 1 other, i cant quite remember... anyways, nero should encod...

Howdy... I need to know how or what I need to do to make a folder on my server "browsable". What i mean is, I want to be able to go to the folder and see whats in it, barring theres not index.html...

Any help is appreciated!

I use FLASHFXP, and always wondered why my .htaccess wouldnt show up. After reading what BigWeb suggested, I tried it and now I can see the hidden files :) :)

Yep. Reason being, I want the date to still"update daily, but instead of showing todays date, I want it to show like last Tuesdays date, for example.
