Is it possible that using tables for the layout of a page might be causing issues with search engine rankings?

Are tables still widely used or are they becoming cumbersome?

It is definitely easier to have all the domains under one hosting account. However, if there is any sort of outage at your web host company, then all of your sites will be down. There are no redirects on the site. Maybe I have too many photos on the pages and the load time is messing things up somehow. What's weird is I don't notice any other listings indexed that way for any search that I do on Google.
