I know it has nothing to do with anything on my computer. I just can't figure it out. It's not my drivers or anything...is there a newer version of DirectX 9.0c?

Whenever I go to run Maple Story (a game), which none of my friend's have a problem with, it crashes explorer.exe, but yet the game still runs. So everything is like restarted and stuff. I don't know how to fix it. I've uninstalled it numerous times, on BOTH my hard drives. I even redownloaded it to...

Or...have the hard drive connected as a slave...

and then use GetDataBack NTFS to recover data...or...instead of even that...

just connect it as a slave...and retrieve the data. ;)

Umm...

Why do I think it could be your Hosts file that is affecting MSN.com.

Check your Hosts file. I forgot the exact location of it. There's no specific extension of the Hosts file.

You can't change it...well you can, if you want to take of risk of your computer not booting up again. You can most likely remove it from being shown through the BIOS. I don't want to explain how to do that, one, because I don't want to take the repsponsibility of your computer just in case I messed...
