Hi hervens, The site layout is really nice. A couple of things to look at would be a visually captivating image for the header (but don't overpower the text, its a balancing act). Also visit Google Fonts and grab some more engaging fonts for both your headers and you body copy. And the last thing I ...

Hey Biggaz,
Are you referring to the 1px border to the left right and top of the video or the thick rounded border on the edge of the video player skin?

If its the rounded border on the edge of the video player skin, then you will need to edit something in the flash file.

Happy Monday! I am having a problem with a pull down menu on a site and while I thought fixing it would be simple I am having some problems. The site is . The screw up is under the Ministries pulldown and the flyout. It is covering 2 other items. I'll put the code below but I feel like its ...

I like the design. The elements you have are really nicely designed with good colors and they are not overused. I do have 2 comments though. Why do you have the navigation in the sidebar right below the main navigation? It seems repetitive and while that might be cool in the footer it seems a bit od...

Hi Guys, Been away from coding for a while and the simple things seem to be hanging me up. I want the wrapper here to continue behind all of its content but right now its only the header in FF on OSX. Heres the code. HTML [code]<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"...

Hi waelmanz, Welcome to ozzu! I would recommend that you stay away from tables except in well tables of data. If coding isn't your thing you can always use a pre-written css frame work from here or here . The site as it is right now looks like a very basic first site, if you you would like something...

It really depends on your taste. As long as you stay in the wordpress section all of the available sites will work for you. Just roll over the image on the left and it will give you a preview. Also if you have a guitar you wouldnt mind loosing, you might be able to find a designer in your area willi...

Hi manman,
Were you looking for a site review or did you have a SEO question? If its an SEO question it would probably be best to post your question in the SEO forum and not here.

Hi waelmanz, Either the site didn't load properly for me or there isn't really any design or layout to speak of. Its just a continuous page of info. I would suggest reading about divs and floats using html and css. If you don't feel like reading you can always download a pre-built from some place li...

Hi pagemagnify,
I looked at the site and I wanted to get some more details about it before I gave you some feedback. Whats the purpose pf the site? Who is your target market? Why did you pick the layout and content you selected?

Hi Greg, While the pictures on the site are nice. I would suggest going a different route with the site. Either you can hire a designer/developer or if funding is an issue I would suggest that you install wordpress on your server then go to themeforest and buy a template and add it to your wordpress...

Hi maahan, As far as the layout and design go I think you did well. You had a lot of content which is arranged well. I am glad you didn't put the ads as the most promenant thing on the page. I find that annoying when I go to a site and thats the first thing I see. As far as the colors go, while ther...

I've used VirtueMart on joomla and thought it worked ok but that was a couple of years ago.

Hi aleks77, The site layout isn't that bad and I like the blue color scheme throughout even though it doesnt really match your logo. The content seems to be arranged pretty well. I would suggest like oliver13 that maybe you revisit the logo, but I would also check on how some of the page elements ar...

So you want the text to go under the image? Or just for the text to be a specific width? The image currently has a 10px margin on the bottom and left.

Post Posted: January 4th, 2010, 8:24 am

It would be easier to control the text if you threw it into its own div or even if you put it in paragraph tags. Just giving you another way to control it. Also if you are having trouble with the layout you might want to start with one from or ...

Lots of white and lots of ads. That many ads are an instant turn off to me. I'm not going to bother looking at a site if I feel like the main purpose of the site is for them to make money rather then provide me with information.

ATNO, I'm not ignoring your post just still chewing on it, hope to get back to you on it soon. And the wordpress logo is a beaut I agree, jason santa maria is a kick ass logo designer. Post Posted: November 18th, 2009, 1:36 pm

Hey I am trying to think of the best way to build a site in which users can go in and select components/content and customize their page to show the things that they want to read and see when they log in. Drag and drop for the components would be nice.

Nice color scheme, very easy to look at. The right side of the top bar looks a little empty. Maybe you could shrink down the login box and throw it up there, or the search box. I like the nice contrast of the orange. Also I think the contact page is really sparse. Maybe a little something above the ...
