It's hard to name the specific parts, but when I tried removing tables, I just found I couldn't get things aligned the way they are with tables. And tables are far more widely supported of course.

If it slows down your download speeds YOU SHOULD. It's nasty source code. You could easily cut your speed (er, your wait) in half by using CSS and using CSS in replacement for a lot of your CSS. Even on a fast connection your website takes too long to load. Oh, I didn't realize that was what you me...

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the colors, the site was originally written using a low-contrast LCD so the colors looked brighter on it, but now I can see it really is a bit too dark. I think the comment colors are good, right? It's just the main text that has a too-dark background. It is a bit ...

Thanks for your feedback. You know, this thread is 5 months old, but I happened to see it, so OK. Anyway I agree the Recent Activity table looks ugly and I've been meaning to pretty it up for a while, just haven't got around to it yet. "Partners" is an OK word, but it makes it seem like the sites ar...

As the previous posters said, the layout and especially the colors are very monotonous -- you need to break up the page more. But I did like the thoughtful menu -- you used simple text for the links, but arranged it so clicking the area activates the link instead of the text itself... with an area m...

yea maybe i will single space the text...what flashing ad? Many things have been bought before... Im trying to get more sellers right now. Your own ad, with the changing text. Technically it's animated, not "flashing", but I found it distracting. It would be better either placed elsewhere (is there...

DevImg.net was, first of all, started in January so there is already plenty of content -- it's not a vacant shell I'm trying to get reviews of :) Anyway it's a site for amateur game developers to upload screenshots of their projects, with information and comments. I don't want to say too much becau...

I really like the unique color scheme of this site -- sort of warm and inviting, while also being high-contrast. Everything looks very well-organized too. The only possible "flaws" I could find are the site's typical use of lowest-common-denominator design, as I like to call it, which means you comp...

I like the subtle blend of flat and 3D shaded elements, and the gray color scheme is nice, but I don't like how the title area for each news item has a black background... the background should be brighter than the news text background, so in other words, it should be light gray (maybe with black te...

Well, first of all, I don't like the double-spaced explanatory text, or the flashing ad right next to it -- it's distracting when one is trying to read. The site seems very functional, if a bit busy. But, I have to wonder about the bids I'm seeing -- they seem to all be for services/code snippets on...
