I am going to be imaging the drive to be put on every computer. Not just the office. I am making a windows xp pro O/S image with custom programs on it. One being office xp small business. I need to make it so every new image that is made asks for the basic settings and serial number.

Hey everyone I have bought office xp oem and I am going to be putting this on an xp machine. I am going to be putting it on 80 actually so I need to make an image where the office is installed but the key needs to be put in as I dont have one volume key but 80 oem keys. if I want to ghost a machine but not have the ghost app on the image can I use a floppy? anyone know how I would do this. I heard it could be done but not sure?

quick question, I want to make an image but I dont have the full enterprise version of ghost. I only have, I assume a desktop copy. I would like to make the image with out ghost being installed on the machine I am ghosting. How can I do this ? so I want to make an image on a desktop with out install...

Ok so interms of sysprep I do have an active directory network do I need to use sysprep for my image. I have about um say 5 apps that I am going to install as well. in GHost what is the best choice backup / clone. I have ghost running on the machine xp pro, with my apps and I want to create my image.

sysprep, anyone have any good experience with sysprep xp pro I have customized xp pro with apps and other reg fixes I need. I want to make an image of it now. Is it a good idea to run sysprep for this. I tried to run it but I dont know what the best choices are I ran sysprep choice factory? not sure...

sorry one quick question Do I need to use sysprep.
I was told I dont want to have all the sids the same. I do want to be able to change the machine name and account once booted.

Not sure on using these two together
