I use Remote Desktop every day as part of my job. I have never had any bad experiences with it.

A really good Remote Control Application is DameWare, which unfortunately is used by a lot of hackers!

Try new memory...

I had 3 linux boxes with same hardware... all got the same error...
Memory was the culprit.

I don't see how your quickrestore cd can be the fault.

You need to open port 6346 TCP Outbound to allow this to work properly.

Port 1214 is just to allow Kazaa to act as a Super Node.
