This happened to me as well. I found a great .ws name. I didn't have time to purchase it, but when I came back later that day it had been grabbed by GoDaddy themselves! They were auctioning it off in their domain market. I have heard about this happening to other people as well. Besides that, GoDadd...

I like where you're going with this, I'm guessing it's suppose to be a PageRank-like tool? If you want people to use miniRank though you need to give them a reason why they should spend time on it instead of checking their Google PR or Alexa rankings. This is what I get for Google: Place: 492 (4.135...

I would suggest some kind of content or links in the header (like maybe you could have a featured video) so that people will get an idea of the content right away. Also there isn't a lot of diversity.. The color scheme looks great but I would suggest adding something more eye-catching toward the top...

I'm using FireFox and your navigation was completely messed up. FF is getting popular, so you'll want to optimize the site for that as well. Overall I thought the site was OKAY. You have a nice logo and color scheme, but you're using too many different fonts. The cursive 'Content' title doesn't go w...

It looks good to me. The flash intro where you clicked stuff was kind of scary, but it was just too long. I almost clicked out of it. The movie does look pretty good though :) As for the actual site with info, it was pretty good. My suggestion would be to NOT use Flash on the splash page. Use simple...

A great start! You've really done an impressive job with the site so far, I'd love to see what it will look like in a few months. The idea of the site is great, and it's easy to register and submit a story which is also a big plus. Because your site is mostly text, I would suggest finding a constant...

In my opinion, when I think of and hear the name open post, it definitely doesn't make me think of entertainment. Open Post to me implies a place where people gather and post their thoughts and opinions about anything. It's open to everyone. You got it right on - That's exactly the purpose behind t...

Interested to know, did you code yourself or buy a lisence because its well done, indeed. All coded and designed by myself, starting with a blank copy of phpBB :) I fixed the Vote For Us so that you open a new window to view all of them. I also tried to minimize all of the image sizes and the page ...

I'm looking for helpful reviews and suggestions for improving my entertainment and discussion community. It's a fairly new site that's been open for about 4 months or so now. Specificly, how can I improve on what I already have? What are some ways I can make it easier to navigate and more user frien...

Nice site, great colors. But like everyone else is saying it needs more of a personal feeling with a lot more pics of your band on the main pages. Honestly it just doesn't feel like a site about your band. The color scheme and layout just screams forum. And since I've never heard of your band, I hav...

The search content itself is very well designed. But like stated before, I would change it so that your curser is a hand when you mouse over, so that people know they can click on it. The search function worked fine for me, the only thing that I think it's REALLY missing is a way to search all of th...

Overall I think you're on the right track, considering who the site's directed audience is. The first thing that jumped out at me was the font. You're running 2 different fonts, with no standard sizing. Perhaps if you had regular sizing (ex ~ use 16 pt for the logos, 12 pt for the page, 14 for title...
