Thats a weird problem but I have seen issues like that too, may be due to some invalid shortcuts or registry entries about links which are not fixed. If you know any such shortcut that should be there but doesnt work as usual you can reinstall that program or just manually find whether thats a valid...

Have you tried to setup the connection manually? Control Panel > Network Connections > "Create a new connection" from tasks menu on the left. If your ISP has given the ip, subnet mask, gateway, preferred dns server address you have to specify those.

I had the same problem, it was fixed after installing EasyPHP.
That will automatically configure Apache and MySQL.

I have used it in 1 GB RAM, it works fine with 128 MB graphics, but the trial period is finished and I don't think its a good idea to invest on it right now, it should be given time like 5 or 6 months for the stable driver support and fixing the bugs, rather I can get ready for Vienna

I have a myspace a/c coz its one of the ways to get in touch with my favorite music artists. I don't think its any useful way to keep contact with friends, I just login once in a week to read upcoming shows and blogs from the artists in my friends list and delete spams.
