yeah, SSH is basically like looking at a shell window of a linux box, get putty (google it) to use the linux shell on a *doze box, or type SSH at a linux console to bring up the ssh program

please help me!! I'm using fedora core with apache, mysql and php. I cant seem to load up the index.php. I'm trying to install TorrentTrader RC2 ( http://www.torrenttrader.com ) so far i have installed it in the folder /var/www/html/torrent/ and the domain is setup to go to index.php in that directo...

You would probbaly need the disk, or a way to write to an ntfs partition, if you can grab a disk off a friend (or the net) it shuold work fine...
There might also be a CD thats dedicated to ntfs recovery or something somewhere on the net, i don't know if there is though

That wont work, the boot.ini file tells your computer to boot ntoskrnl.exe from a certain partition, linux is nice enough to move your winodws partition and therefore your boot.ini stops working, use this ini file [code] [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk...

hey, i'm new to these forums n this is my first post n all Anyways, here's my problem i'm trying to start up a webserver using linux, php, mysql and linux... and here are a couple of my questions I'm wondering if there is any windows application that will allow me to communicate over SSH, i'm happy ...
