I agree on the strain on the eyes. I think its the diag. stripes on the bg that are making it so hard on the eyes. Maybe a lighter shade and lose the lines or even a gradient patter instead? I agree with all stated above. To much texting can always lead to a hard to read site. As far as the banner, if you are not that good with flash, maybe just a nice fireworks rollover set to change when you move over your links up top (home, forums, roster, etc.) Maybe a different color filter per ea...

Looks good. I like the intro movie and the fact that you can get information from it unlike other intros. Might want to do a little something more with the sidebar menu, its a little bland compared to the rest of the site. Other than that, its well formatted
