Google does not differentiate much about subdomain and folders these days. Mainly because it is so easy to set up and being abused a lot. Best method would ne to get another domain (in another IP even) for your link directory. Then do three way link exchanging. Thanks man, was wondering if any one ...

I was wondering if this method of reciprocal linking is recommedned. What if a web directory is created on a sub domain where all OBL's links are placed but the IBL's pointing back to the main site. Could this work and if so, could I then go and get ( figuratively speaking ) 5000 links with this met...

Hi guys, I have been out for a while but would very much like to know, what's the significance of having a site structure in folders as opposed to the regular .php or other file type extensions? Does it rank better in the SERP? I am currently in the process of a major redesign and would love to know...

Does anyone know how using a CMS impacts on the ranking google generates. Currently the CMS that we are contemplating using generates all its site content from one PHP reference file. This makes for a rather interesting and fairly incoherent URL when referencing sub pages within the site. The point ...

What you must remember is that google will only "show" backlinks with PR of 4 and above, what has probably happened is that your link partners have dropped a PR or two on the page that your link has been placed, but it's also a possibility that because of the update now taking place things have not ...

well some guy actually went through and removed my links. So we're having a bit of a dispute. yeah I gotta say that's one of the best free tips I've ever recieved. I just added 10 or so PR 5 and 4 links to different parts of my site from very relevant pages. Wikipedia is interesting. It's amazing that so many people have contributed information to these pages. How do you add to this site?

Why not set the signatures so that way they appear on the page but are not picked up by the SE's. That way if the content is valuable the reader will follow the link, but not the SE's. A lot of forums do that e.g Highrankings ( view the cache of a few posts) Clare That's it, I have no problems with...
