Today I finally got Redhat. Okay, so I'm going through installation and everything and then when installing the packages it says to insert disc 2. I insert disc 2 and it keeps saying 'That's not the correct Redhat Linux CDROM' Yes, I tried all discs. Please help ASAP :(

Can anyone tell me how I can do a login/register script with Perl and have it set proper cookies to keep the user logged in?

Thanks for the manual. A lot of people are still on 56k modems like me, so it'd take 27 hours to download one Linux disk. (And I don't have a burner :wink: ) Anyway, Google I tried. I get a lot of support sites with stuff like "I did this and this and the network still doesn't work!" that doesn't ex...

Christmas Vacation for me began officially at 2:42 pm today. Of course, I just missed 2 weeks of school because of the flu and just went back for today to get my books to do my homework over break.

My mom just had a similar problem. Either take it to your local computer shop, or if you registered with your computer dealer (If you bought it from say HP like we did or a similar service) have them send you a recovery disk. Usually they will only charge you shipping and handling. Your local comput...

Hi In a week I'm getting Redhat for Christmas (yay!) and I'm going to install it to my extra harddrive. (It won't be a dual boot) Anyway, I can't put WINE on because I obviously don't know how to network Redhat with Windows XP to use the internet, and I don't have anything big enough to transfer WIN...
