Also, i just installed all of Creative's sound playing software, and it plays through my surround sound just fine, all of their programs do. Whenever I try to do something Windows related it wont work through the rear speakers.

Do anyone of you have a solution? I dont think its my cableing because when I switch the plugs around it goes to the respective speakers, Its got to be a problem with Windows trying to get the signal to them and not doing so. Also, its weird because when I cahnge those little picture sound configura...

Recently (As of one to 2 days ago) my surround sound rear channels stopped working, they were working just fine before. I hadnt installed anything since when they went out and when I had last used them in 5.1. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card and Creative Inspire 5.1 surround sound speakers ...

First off, Im pretty sure it hasnt been overclocked at all. Second, I dont even want to get near pushing it over the edge, just a slight upgrade. I've got a giant case thats got 4 fans going right now. A 2.8 Pentium 4. 400 Watt power supply. Asus P4S8X mother board. (8X AGP, I have it working now to...

The GeForce 6800 Ultra is the fastest NVidia chip out there currently, going insanely fast, faster than processors can keep up with, and the X800 XT Platinum Edition is only a very small bit slower, BUT it isnt a dual slot card, and it doesnt require TWO 12 volt leads from a 480 (around) power suppl...

Well, its weird because I went back into my video card configuration screen and tried one last time to set it to 8X and then restart and for some odd reason it worked that particular time.
Maybe I did something between the time I found the problem and the time I tried to fix the problem.

Sorry, but could I ask for a better idea of how to go about doing this?
Im pretty literate in this kind of stuff, but I know that I really dont want to mess up my BIOS by accident. I'll give it a go, but I wont do anything I dont trust. Thx too!

Hey everyone. I've been getting some pretty cool games as of late, and my Radeon All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro should be doing the job well, but it seems my computer is stuck in 4X AGP. I went into the properties and tried to change it to 8X, but after I restarted (as it said I should) it reset to 4X. My m...

The odd thing is, 2 friends of mine that live only a mile away from me have never been disconnected before. I live in Minnesota. I thought it was comcast, but since the guy with the laptop was able to register our internet when I couldn't on our own, then I concluded it must be something with our co...
