As of now my web site uses 2 MySQL databases, PHP, a mail server, GD 2.0, around 2 GB of bandwith and 100 MB of space. Of course, I need more than what it's using so that I can let it develope. I am searching for a good host, so far the best ones I have found are Propercomfy , ]IllusionFXnet and God...

Hello. I am working on some sort of PHP portal for phpBB that handles file uploads. I need help as for what it is of handling files in the browser. I noticed that embed tags could do the job for about any file type, but I heard that those are not compatible with IE 5.0. I have also heard of Object t...

Have you checked the info here? http://www.google.ca/webmasters/index.html As a side note, I strongly recommend you upgrade your forum to a current version of phpBB (2.0.14 is the current as of this post). The version you are using has some critical security vulnerabilities. If you've already appli...

Lookup without WWW Lookup with WWW This is desolating. Four pages are indexed and only one is getting cached, and that after I have permanent redirected the adress without www. to the adress with www. and installed that phpBB SEO mod. I have asked for help on Google groups but the only answer I got...

I was checking the configuration of my UNI.CC domain and I accidently erased the nameservers from my configuration, and I don't remember them. (I tried ns1.ahazhoting.com and ns2.ahazhosting.com, with no result) I tried to contact Alex (the owner) about it, but for some reason he isn't replying to a...

Okay thanks for those informations, but what should I put in .htaccess to make anotherfantasy.uni.cc redirect to http://www.anotherfantasy.uni.cc without it getting stuck in an endless redirecting loop?

EDIT: Nevermind I have found out. :)

Okay.

So now I see that Google has updated its cache for my splash page... but that's about it. It didn't update any of the few pages it indexes nor did it crawl through the site any furter than before, while other phpBBs even without the SEO mod have all their forums and topics indexed.

SID#: Okay, seems like a lot of sacrifices. Do you think that applying some of those changes will help even though I don't apply them all? PR1: I'll try, thanks. Google Indexing: Seems to me like these links are "broken". Their URL exist, yet opening them from Google Indexing seems to lead to an err...

Ok thanks. About SID# Sorry but as far as I know I can't do anything about it. The whole site's using the phpBB system and I programmed all the non-phpBB/non-mMODs parts (the whole update system that makes my forum behave exactly like a CMS) out of almost-scratch, except I used phpBB's basic functio...

Vidda You got some work ahead ... First your splash page (bad) contains little more than a copyright notice.(also bad). When I get to the next page I find several links at the top with SID# (really bad). I suggest you go over to the REVIEW FORUM and start there. If your search terms are that compet...

Okay, so I have put my keywords, description and author name in a text file with I "included" in my welcome page header, my phpbb forum header and my coppermine gallery header. I have put a lot of keywords, a solid description, my website should be pretty easy to find on google, right? Nope. My prob...

The title says it all. I need a content management system programmed in PHP wich uses MySQL that will manage Shockwave Flash objects, pictures (at least JPG and PNG), downloads (at least ZIP files) and announcements. I have seen a lot of CMS's but they only manage articles and some of them downloads...
