I would also consider adding your site to Google Webmaster Tools. This may give you more information on what Google has a problem with. The same with Bing Webmaster tools. Even if you had 0 problems, these are good resources to keep a check on your site.

If it helps, I had to actually send the president of a company this video:

http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/keywords- ... eb-search/

It's Matt Cutts telling you that Google doesn't use the keyword tag. That's right from the horse's mouth.

Hey Dekanos- Wordpress is actually very seo-friendly and even Matt Cutts has recommended using Wordpress for sites. They have a ton of plugins making it very easy to create a very seo-friendly website. I have one website that is more geotargeted to a specific area and getting top ranking, but it's n...

Yep...I have been tracking iphone users for about a year now. It was always available, but you had to dig a little deeper for it. I created a custom report for just iphone users...which works very well for me.

It will effect your landing page score for each adgroup, which will have an effect on your positioning in Google Adwords...either in a positive or negative light. I would review your quality score pre-change and post-change.

Problem with Bing Cashback is that it is much, much harder to implement than any other shopping comparison engine and you need to actually pass shopping cart data to Bing. I plan on testing this with a client soon, but a lot of development hours to get it working correctly.

I would always recommend testing PPC before SEO. The reason is how do you know what keywords to focus on in free search? The ignorant way is to guess or to go by the keyword with the most searches. PPC allows you to test dozens, hundreds, if not thousands of keywords to see which ones give you the m...

You say that is only took 30 days, but your domain has been live for almost 2 years and actually expires in 3 months. This domain - 1stbusinessreview.com.

I would definitely test out MSN Adcenter as well...especially since the bing.com search engine has seen an increase in traffic. For free search, here are the directories I recommend: Yahoo Directory - $299.00 per year, but a very trusted directory. Best of the Web Directory - One of the oldest direc...

Well if you do a little digging in Analytics you should be able to see what source/medium/keyword the loss in traffic has come from.

You cannot be penalized for sites/links that point to your site. If you could, competitors would be using this technique all over the place. You also said: "spammers posted a PORN posts ,which increased my traffic to 2x , Once I saw these posts I removed it , my traffic started to decreased rap...

Not at at all...that's very common. An example would if you owned: http://www.trademarkwidgets.info http://www.trademark-widgets.com http://www.trademarkwidgets.org http://www.trademarkwidgets.net and you wanted them to all redirect to your main domain http://www.trademarkwidegets.com. how is it possible that the pr of your old domain transfer to the new domain only by applying 301 redirect method? Because Google knows that you are creating new page or domain and wants to pass all neccessary information to it. You will find tons of information from Matt Cutts and Adam Lasnik Here...

So I would say Vetofunks' estimate is optimistic, based on years of experience of what pays and what doesn't, 9 out of 10 people probably won't get anywhere near that with their first Adsense experience. I have a blogspot blog, my first experience with Adsense that lasted more than a day, that's av...

I am interested in the effects of the ppc marketing for each. I don't know if any of you use Yahoo Search Marketing for PPC, but the interface is terrible. I would love to have one interface (MSN Adcenter is fine) that handles both Yahoo and MSN advertising. On the flip-side, many advertisers don't ...

Post Posted: July 29th, 2009, 3:24 pm

There are so many different variables for calculating how much you will be paid. There's the ppc costs of the keyword in the network, the click through rate, the amount of visitors you get per day. No way of telling without testing.

You don't need to use a submission site, you just need to build relevant links to your web site. Now that's just to be indexed. Getting great positioning takes time, research, more time and then some time...it's definitely not a quick process. I would start learning and then ask more specific questi...

#2 - In your Adsense account you can select the part of the page you wish Google to relate your ads to. Maybe there is some irrelevant information on your site that Google is getting confused about. Also, you can select advertisers that you don't want to be placed on your site, which can help you cu...

If you did a correct 301 permanent redirect, Pagerank will be passed to the new page. Because of this, I would make sure you redirected those old pages to the new pages and not just everything to the new domain. Now the Pagerank bar is only updated every so often so don't expect to visually see the ...
