Sometimes, some fixes can't wait. When there is a flaw or serious bug, you want to patch it as soon as possible. Sometimes, something goes terribly wrong at the worst time of the day, and you have no choice but go offline to fix things. If a website goes offline during peak hours, you can expect tha...

Make sure your URLs are search-engine friendly and contain keywords. Instead of having http://www.domain.com/product.php?id=1234, use URLs like http://www.domain.com/nintendo-wii-fit that have the product name part of the URL. Make sure that you list your website link on as many relevant websites as...

Google is Number 1 because they deserve it. Their search results are relevant.
Google is also a more benign company compared to Microsoft. They don't try to bully the competition and don't have an unfair advantage.
They are Number 1 because they are the best and deserve that spot.

I guess everyone prefers style 1.
I have decided to replace the style of the webmaster forum with the new custom skin.

Do you like the layout and the choice of colors? Or is it too blue-ish??

What suggestions do you have to improve the look and feel of this style?

Which one of these 2 styles do you prefer?

Forum Style 1
Forum Style 2

I am currently debating which style to make the default style.

Thanks

It's not bad.
I don't like your color combination though. The red and the green clash.
The layout is ok though.

I love the site.
It looks really neat. I like the web 2.0 feel of your site.
The only thing that I would suggest is to add more color to the header and footer. It seems too dark and too dull.

Not bad. The layout looks really clean and the colors are very nice.
The only thing that I would suggest is to add a search box.
After all, this is a web directory.

No, I have not seen Revenge of the Nerds.
I have been looking for people to post ad space for sale on their website. Hopefully, you'll start seeing more stuff there soon.

A few months ago, I started a Ad Marketplace and Auctions website. The idea was simple. For webmasters who want to sell ads directly to advertisers, all they had to do was sign up at http://www.adspace-auctions.com and post the type of ads they are selling on their websites. They could choose to sel...

If there were no spam bots then they wouldn't need captcha.... I hate Spam I can't wait for 3.0 to be released :) You don't need a captcha to prevent Spam. I have a phpbb computers and electronics forum . I have implemented several mods to discourage spamming. I have no captcha there but the spamme...
