Thanks! I know how to overcome it. I guess the reason why United wants this is so you don't end up using a cached version of the website where fare, flight, seat selection or other information has changed.

On some websites I visit, using the back button will not work unless you hit it several times in a row. I'm using IE. An example is United Airlines.
