I disagree, search engine submitters are good for submitting the location of your reciprocal links. Makes sure links to your site are found by search engines.

Most sites seem to have their directories on the left side of the page, and this is nice to use, but I am wondering if you all think it would be better to put the directory on the right side so your text comes up first. Would this help from misleading bots about the pages content ? Can a header fix ...

does anyone know of an easy to use program that allows you to add a website directory to your website and check for reciprocal links ? I am of course hoping for a free one, and I have found a couple, but they don't seem to work...I was hoping for a php program that is easy, and can also be a directo...

You guys think the toolbar is part of google's algorithm? Just thinking if I was a making a search engine I'd make the toolbar record what people search for and which sites they visit.

Post Posted: February 10th, 2005, 11:27 am

What exactly does it mean when google goes nuts like this? Did they make a big change in their algorithm and they are redoing everyone's ranking?

ei: 1st 20%
2nd 15%
3rd 12%
4th 10%

Post Posted: December 1st, 2004, 12:17 pm

According to my stats my site hasn't been visited by google since nov 28. Also my rank for keywords(still very low) changes every day. My backlinks have been the same for a few days now, maybe nov 28 too, i don't know. I wish they would update backlinks more often it would be more motivation to work!

the horrible use of english makes me sick. ;) Lol! You should try the online RPG I've been playing. Broken english at its peak. Although I have to admit I've attempted many messages in Dutch that turned out to be nothing but jibberish. Anyway maybe I'll just tell this guy I have a $100,000 standard...

I have been e-mailing this gentlemen because he wanted to order some t-shirts. The most recent e-mail was a little differ...

I would try making a database. The form they fill out will send the info to the database. Then create a page that will get info from the database to display the results.
- google search for "database tutorial"
there are lots of good resources

I just recently learned how to make a lot of pages with the same format using CSS scripts. On my pages I also want a list of links to be the same on the left column on each page. Can I use CSS for this or do i need to try something else?

Each page has its own pagerank. Usually you will have promoted your index page the most so it will have the highest page rank and other pages will be lower as they get farther out from your index page

Post Posted: September 16th, 2004, 2:23 pm

yeah exactly, you should try commission junction if you haven't yet, they are a lot bigger.

Post Posted: September 16th, 2004, 2:14 pm

I was wondering if anyone has tried any paying services to increase their rank on the major search engines and if any of them are actually worth the money spent.

Post Posted: September 16th, 2004, 2:10 pm

I've used linkshare before and it's basically the same as commission junction only not quite as big. The site finds advertisers and provides web publishers with their ads. The publisher gets paid per lead or a percent of sale usually. I haven't been on the site in a while but I would imagine this is...
