Maybe the experience, in part, is effected by the computer specs. In my case Windows 10 loads faster and is faster then any other operating system I've had before. And my laptop isn't very strong itself... just a regular $400 laptop with i5 processor I have upgraded a few laptops to 10 for customer...

This is an old thread but I am with Jess4mari. I play some games that are for XP. And from what I have heard that WIN10 does not support old legacy games.

If your programs work with 8/8.1 then they will work with 10. <- sameish core.

I am going to stay with windows 7 until Microsoft stops supporting it. It was the same thing I did with XP.

?Have you water cooled your CPU? Quite honestly for GPUs you have to piece them together. Also for the 7870 its not really the best card to be water cooling. Look into your case flow for heat wise. Well I had gotten a notice from AMD that I have an update for the video drivers. Updated and haven't notice the issue anymore.

It is connecting to your email server. So if your email is through @virgin then you need to look at there servers.

Go to the main source. AKA if the email it self is then go to gmail... If it is then go to virgin and so forth.

If you are just wanting to do a count of number of rows do this.

Houdy. There is nothing wrong with xp. What it sounds like is something is using up all your resources. To take a look at this do this. CRTL-ALT-DELETE -> Go to Task Manager->Processes(TAB)->Click the CPU text twice to see what is taking up everything. This will help narrow it down for you.

the drivers are os suspific. I would Highly recomend doing this instead of installing the Linux on the hard drive. Ubuntu USB linux. But boot from the usb and run the os that way. Also then you will be able to TRULY tell if the computer sees your hard drive.

If you want to go the rout of finding the CDs call Dell 1-800-433-9014 and tell them you need the recovery CD for your computer. They may be able to help you get your computer back up with out needing the CDs. Make sure you have your Service Tag number handy.

Okay i am working on another project and need some help I have used a raspberry Pi computer and have a webcam to send out a stream. pretty cool stuff. but i am making a box where the computer ad cam will go into and eventually there will be a few more censers and what not. It will have its own power...

I am working on another project. I want to do a hosting project with Raspberry Pi's! Yes i know you wont be able to do no massive website on it or what not but thats not the point. so basically creating a whole new forum.. Nice :) Hmmm OzzuBb <- maybe.. lol

Sounds like it will be very nice once things are up and running.

Although something got me wondering with all the active real time scripting wont that put a big load on the servers?
