Been having some quirks with my PC lately. Every now and then it will randomly die. It wont see one of the 2 SATA drives, usually the one with the OS on it. I'll *peach* around with it and eventually get it going (plugging into other SATA Ports usually does it). Initially I thought it was my hard dr...

My suggestions are to remove the comments option from pages that dont need it (ie: browser home page, useful links). Also that link on the left to your portfolio... It's so compressed that I can't tell what they are and there's nothing really encouraging me to click it. I thought it was an ad at fir...

The tools are all very handy and I did play with some of them to check my site with them. Problem is the design is a bit antiquated. It needs a more Web 2.0 look (as much as I hate that term). I agree with the others here that it is way too busy, if I wasnt there for the purpose of reviewing I might...

SITE REVIEW: Niagara For Free Been working on this site for about a year in my spare time, haven't really opened it to the public yet or posted links anywhere yet. Would like to mainly get input on the flow of the site. The main focus is a business directory, but I've been working towards the "...

By any chance was that logo made with AAA Logo? Looks oddly familiar (as I've used that program many times in the past)

My only complaint is the URI for images ends up being way too long. Between the not-so-short domain name and the extra get values it doesn't look too friendly. Take a look at imgur to see how they do it.

Also, using something like mod_rewrite on those URLs might help.

I will second the removing of the spinning peace sign. Makes the site look like it's from 1995.

When looking for icons I usually go to google, and search for whatever image I need plus the word 'icon' in their image search. I also set it to use the smallest image size.

Works great for me.

I use PHP fusion for one project, I've managed to find mods for almost every thing I need that it didn't have base support for. A few other things I've programmed in myself as they weren't hard to implement.

It's free too :P

I'm looking to make some extra cash off of people signing up to one of my sites. I want to offer opt-ins to users after they sign up, or they can chose to skip it. Is there a network offering this? Or do I have to gather each of my opt-in sites manually?

I havent done much with ASP for the last year or so, but a lot of my old sites are written in ASP. After a year of staring at PHP 50 hours a week its hard for me to remember how to do things in ASP. I have a SELECT CASE block set up. It checks to see the domain name the person entered in order to re...
