I too submitted my site http://www.americantruckbuyer.com to yahoo dir around 2 to 3 month ago but still not much difference in the traffic from Yahoo.

i too prefer to use http://www.smartpagerank.com

as it shows PR from diff datacenters and PR of our backlinks pointing to our site. Thats a gud one

if your client is not much interested in directory submission, forum posting ... then u should try out Google ad, banners on other sites which receives good amount of visitors daily, social bookmarking ... but i think u need to do proper SEO too ... to get visitors regularly in future too by search ...

Google shows the quality backlinks sorted by it...

yahoo shows maximum backlinks pointing to your site...

so for getting more backlinks for your site get quality site backlinks ...

You can buy links on blogs and directories SITEWIDE ... thats also a good tech for building many backlinks...

To get indexed can take anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks. I will put a link on a site that gets crawled daily. Yes thats a gud one for a new site to get index by se's. and get quality backlinks pointing towards your site ... and then later on submit articles and do lots of submission n all ...

I have installed Google Talk in my PC and liked it too.

But i am not having that much fun with it because of very few friends using it till now.

So just want to find new friends through Gtalk....does anyone has suggestions for it ?

I think you should wait and have patience for backlinks in google.

Till the time if you have not submiited your sitemap in google than go for it and submit it soon...by doing this also will help your problem to get solved soon.

i opened your site but it asks for Membe id & Password .....so could go further.

There is no timing or period fixed for google to spider website.

I think no one knows the perfect timing or no one can perfectly comment on it.

It totally depends on the google for it.
