Creating the two scrollable areas, with header and footer is one of the hardest CSS layouts to achieve. It can be done and a fantastic resource is http://www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/index.html and look at the "fixed" layouts. About getting the left div with the scrollbar on the left. I just ...

Seems to be working fine for me on IE and firefox. CAn you be more specific as to where the problem is?

On a side note, on any screen resolution other than 1024x768 your site doesn't centre, due to the absolute positioning.

Hey, just had another look and it all seems to be working in firefox and IE. I take it you managed to sort the problems out?

Why do you want them to register for, if the service offered is a free download site?

Thats the question I ask myself if somewhere wants me to register and if I can't think of logical reason, I'll leave and look elsewhere.

Took me a little while to hunt through the CSS but I think I've found it:
Code: [ Download ] [ Select ]
#content { position: absolute; ..... }
Is all of that centre column inside the content div? If so then this is your problem. Absolute positioning makes it so that the every other...

Is what you are trying to achieve similar to the menu at http://www.apple.com , but dynamic, rather than the sub-menu changing with the page? If so, this is actually more tricky than you might think. ALA's suckerfish menu is great but still geared up to drop-down menus, so you will still...

yes, i meant defining about everything about font for @print, not @screen..nevermind. My bad, I misunderstood. but i stil dont see advantage of having elements positioned with position:absolute, wouldnt your "normal" layout work just as well? In theory, yes. I'm recomending absolute posit...

Im suggesting different positioning on the screen/media stylesheet so that on screen, all of the fields expand and move with text zoom, so that text zoom will zoom the entire page, and your fields and suchlike don't start overlapping a become a big mess. You then edit this stylesheet, and put all th...

How much do you know about CSS? If you want a form that will print out with a standard layout then the easiest and quickest way would be to use
Code: [ Download ] [ Select ]
position:absolute;
and fiddle around with pixel measurements. A fair bit of testing might be needed for this to match everything up on the ...

Webspace, back track it.. "my fathers son is this mans father" Since he has no brothers or sisters it can't be a nephiew. (unless the reason he has no brothers or sisters is because they died..) Dead siblings would make nephew a possibility. As would half-siblings (depending on how you define "brot...

The following script should do the trick:

http://www.caffeinefuelled.net/links_ano.js

It's a "plug and play" type script and also has some extra features ;) It's great unless your users have NSN6, in which case the links stop working completely :roll: . Sometime maybe I might fix this.....

When you say " based on the size of another div" do you mean you want it sitting underneath the other div, regardless of the amount of content in the other div? That is what it sounds like to me, but forgive me if I'm wrong. In which case the best way to go is to stop using absolute positioning. It ...

Baby if you are what you eat I could be you by mourning. The unfortunate spelling makes that one strangely morbid. And more than a little scary :shock: Does work but you have to know how to use it and who to use it on You know, the same could be said of the line "**** me now", that would work if yo...
