I thought the lower the ranking the better you are doing? meaning if one month you are 1.7mil alexa rank. Then the next month you are 545k then you are doing good and your site is being looked at. I can prove this is correct with activity logs and such. Another example is Yahoo.com is normally #1 or...

Yup. txt files for yahoo and xml for google. I know they are in the works to making one standard sitemap file that will be compatable with google, msn and yahoo. But who knows how long that will tak.

I turned on mod-rewrite on my forums to help with friendly indexing of the forums. I think its working out great so far.

I believe its calculated every 2-3 months. So like me I have a PR0 I have to wait until like June to find out if the work I have been doing will pay off and raise my PR. So only time will tell.

Would love to know why MSN is lagging behind in the indexing of my website. Google has done it, Yahoo has indexed more then all of them and then MSN. But least all the bots are hitting my site and its still really only a month old so I hope to have decent exposure by the end of May.

Thanks for the tips and I edited my sig. Just trying to figure out how to market it. It's more a forum for adults to talk about whatever there is a gallery but hey. Not really in it for the $$ just want to build a decent community.

I haven't found a way to submit to MSN my sitemap either. I have done it on yahoo and google. I do see MSN coming to the website and doing some indexing from time to time.
