You can also try forum posting (with signature) for back links. There are those who say these types of links are considered not very valuable to the SEs. I'd like to know if this is true, as many of my own backlinks come from signature links. That's why I have signatures in the first place! W...

Same here, I hope this is not a permanent change in the SERPs as I cannot explain how I can rank below some of the sites by the basic SEO rules.

I still seem to show more BLs in G than the others ranking above me. That's is the annoying bit. I show nearly 3/4 times more BLs than most of the sites ranking above me. By the way, do the BLs from the forum weigh as much? I am an active member of my local forums and regularly post. I also post to ...

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has been impacted negatively by the recent changes. I seemed to have lost quite a bit of ground in the SERPs f...

I've also heard about a guy who started out with a paper clip and is aiming to trade up his way to a house. Last I heard he managed to get a van.

I didn't require an invite to test out the Google Pages. I just logged into http://pages.google.com with my Gmail ID and pass.

It's still very basic but simple and powerful. As far as I can see it is not offering more than any other Free online web design tools, such as the Tripod one.

Have you got a page redirection set up somehow?

If you're hosted on Linux, check your .htaccess file for page redirections.
