I was wondering which would be best for my site. Cookies or no cookies. Is there a way to put both on the page? Cookies and Sessions. Is there a way of checking if the person has cookies enabled?

On my site the person can earn points. I dont want to set a limit on how much they get. So in the database table what value should I set it as? So that the person can earn as much as they like

Alot of people use PHP because there are becoming more and more (free) hosts which have PHP as a service. All the others alot of people havnt even heard of.

When I first started my site I knew that it would be hard. But this is the hardest bit. My person logs on and on all my pages there Username is shown.
