how come if google is so hard to get on and yahoo normally isn't so hard, why im on googles first pages and not on many of yahoos at all.

why is that sometimes when your try and submit to free directorys it say that we do not accept any backlinks from people who are using a hotmail email?

Make sure you understand what kind of keywords to use, make sure they are very specific to what you company does or is.

In order to be on google you will have to be putting your backlinks in very high PR sites or else google will not pick them up because google will not see it as important, unless you have a large quantity of links then you will eventually get picked up by google. I am on the computer around 2 hours a day on SEO working but i have only been doing it for a week, so i am new to this, and i hope it will pay off for me in the long run, what do you guys think?

Is using SEO a lot better, in the long run the use pay-per-click, or would pay-per-click be a better idea. I use the free web directorys to post my backlinks and i dont really get bored doing it so i just feel like doing that is the better way to go. but does it work?
