When you say 'CPU' are you referring to just the Central Processing Unit, or the entire tower itself? I don't believe that a magnet can do anything to the processor, but a very strong one can mess with your hard drives. Monitors and floppies are probably the main devices that you need to worry about...

The design is nice enough. It did take me a very long time to even notice that there are links in top left of the header graphic, however. I recently installed SuSE in class and it was even faster and more pain-free than RedHat9. Both are quite ideal for personal computers, but as you mentioned, SuSE does come with a ton of nice documentation (not that you can't find the same information online...). I have not yet tried out Fedora, so ...

I dought to see how colour blind people would be colorist as they only see gray in multiple shades (correct me if I am wrong) so for them to hate purple they would have to hate grey. and therefore hate everything they see. I'm not worried about the students as much as I am worried about the teachers. The students don't have too much trouble figuring things out, but the teachers...I don't even know the amount of times I've been asked to help one of them send an email attachment. :roll:
