Hi, does anyone knows if it's possible to notify a calling window (the one opening another using : newWin = window.open...) from the callee? I want to notify the caller that the callee has finished what it had to do and that the caller may proceed with what it has to do. So far, I tried calling a fu...

Does anyone know if it's possible to trigger an event using JS? I'm trying to trigger the onChange event of a text field when the code changes the current value contained in the text field. I tought the event might be triggered automatically, but it's not the case. THX

vb's great but it depends what your trying to do, try to program a client-server app in VB... it's a lot easier in c++, but then graphics are rougher in c++ so, what's the best language?? I think it's safe, there's a user login on the first page and then every page called after validates if a user is logged and if that user has access rights on the page he's trying to open.

All you need to change in your current code is the two functions and add the witch element in each input tag like this: [code] function update(q&...

It seems to be IE5 fault. Not sure why, I don't have the technical information but it looks to be a security management problem.

I'm not sure if the only problem is the version of IE (5.0) but your code won't work and it works great on IE6, can you please check your version and tell me??
