M$ has been making an effort towards education and software improvement. They're supporting 1 or more "secure software programming" courses, they intend to have the next OSes with all ports closed, so that the user chooses which ones to open by his free will etc... I had the opportunity to teach Pro...

Hi What a cute site! There is no better word to describe it. Generally well made and organised. I don't like the initial popup either. But to have layers showing in the right place, there is no better choice. I don't do coding, but Dreamweaver does create the behaviour for me, so putting "close wind...

Your site looks great and the initial page really gives it the right "war-game" feeling. In the left bar you could use a transition between the topic-name bar and the background. I am talking about the "Regiment", "SAS Operations"... etc bars. A blur may be nice. The site does have a "heavy" load. E...

Hey there Here's a critique... The color is ok, just that the buttons are too big and the font in them (Times New Roman) is too nasty. If you wand a good transparency, use PNG files instead of GIF for the corner image and choose "Alpha Transparency" in the file optimize panel for image output. I gue...

the anti-blaster worm has the good part, we have a saying in portugal "with that much charity, even a blind doesn't trust". There has to be a full description about the products that come out. In this case, the anti-blaster worm just searches frenetically for more hosts to de-infect and overloads ne...

There should be a comemorative plate or something to celebrate the post account!

i just loved the site.

Colors are great, very cartoon-ish and the general layout is good. I love the curved boxes defining the action zones!

i just don't like the duplicate "Shrews Pages" in 2 different fonts.

cheers

What a nice little story. There's only one way to do what you did the right way. You can use a liquid too flood hot parts, but a non conductive one. And the PC can't be flooded, only the MoBo should be plunged in it because it has no mobile parts. A guy made a weird overclocking some time ago using ...

Sunshades are my sun glasses (not sun blades/rays)! I didn't adjust the colors and I'll leave it that way. I prefer to design a new banner, I like it the way it is. Right now I am looking for the right bitmap background. Until now all banners were made 100% of vector objects. Cheers Norb [NMS]

Maybe just a little bit trigger happy with the white

You're right. I guess I should have removed the sun shades before completing the banner 8)

I'll try to soften it a bit.

glad you liked it.

I thought about the black/gray/blue/white combination that makes up the site colors. So I came up with this banner.

BigWebMaster: What is the basis for your choice? Do you want a specific color scheme? Or should we just let our imagination flow?

thanks for your comments guys, let's see if I get some more spare time at work for a new layout.

Hey!

I had GIMP installed on my windows!! It's a cool soft, quite like photoshop. You just have to install a library, some plugins (to import/export and effects) and set some system variables! Besides this work, it's a very nice for a free soft!

How could I forget that one??!!

Hi!!! I took a Photoshop course recently. After that, the company I work for made me do their homepage. I was kinda used to Fireworks so I kept to it. I have been quite amazed by FW's ability to generate my web graphics quickly and without too much fiddling with options. The easy part is that PS's k...

Hey guys The place where I put the images is a free web host and they've been cutting on server capacity and capability lately, maybe there's the connection problem. Fusion: I have nothing against your style, it's a real killer! It's just not the 1st time that I see the "crosshair" shape and the ima...
