ya im registered with go daddy, and they require that u give your info then it is published in the whois. I didnt want to pay extra to keep it private. Although they do allow u to give seperate info for billing.So im sure not many people give real info. So if u pay to keep it private does it just di...

I registered a domain for the first time a few days ago, and was suprised that i had to disclose my name, address and phone for the world to see. Any one else have any feeling about this?

Im gonna register the domain name that ive been thinking of.
What i dont understand is, do i need to transfer the domain to the host when i find one ? Or do i just provide godaddy with the host info?
