i have my drives in raid 0 right now and start times are like 3 mins. i have 2 wd green drives and i am thinking they are just as fast as if i did not raid..
i am about to format my pc and i wanted to know should i keep the raid 0 config?

ya the msconfig stuff was done the first day, unless i add something that starts on start up. i have done all the normal edits and changes to make the pc boot faster and run faster. i think it is a issue with the raid0. once the pc boots the drive is reallllllly fast just start up it seems like ther...

thanks ATNO/TW. i was using the wrong term. @ casablaca moving system files and files in use by the OS that are fragment would help the system go just a little faster.. it is not a big deal anyway, just want to get all the juice out of my new monster. it is set up as 2 650gb drives in raid 0 for now...

What is a low level defrag? Either you defrag or you don't. well if do you know what a low level format is? if you do it is the same thing but defraging. a low level defrag if a program that will run off boot and defrag all files. a normal defrag you see in windows dose the same thing but cant move...

That's not what you said five minutes ago in another post. http://www.ozzu.com/mswindows-forum/don-upgrade-dell-mobo-vista-key-t98079.html my laptop is a "test" pc. and most of the drivers for it are missing.. like the scroll on the touch pad cant be used and the vol control is messed up....

how could anyone stick to just 3 apps. just on start up it would be filled. how would then know if your printer software is a app or your anti-virus is a app does it count it as a app if you open it? what if it is in the start up menu.. i don't think anyone would go for it so it is a good think they...
