:D :D :D :D Naaaw wish I was over there and could have gone too!! Would have been so cool to see you guys in the flesh. Feels like a thousand years since I've haunted the halls of Ozzu with you guys. Looks like you had a great reunion!!

I love the iPhone but I detest how often they release new versions, that includes the iPad. I heard they also changed the plug too. We're upgrading soon but going from 4 to 4S because all our equipment uses the old plug and besides, the new 5 won't be available here until next year sometime.

I think its mostly to do with a change in the way we communicate now. Back in 2003 when I joined Ozzu the forum scene was huge. Then people moved away from forums to Facebook, Twitter and other "social media" networks to converse. The other thing is back in 2003 not as many people had thei...

It's a good idea if you have your own site and you want to also put the articles on other sites, to summarise the article on your own site and then link to the full one. Often you can be penalised if you duplicate content too much. Also, don't submit the same articles to multiple sites, for the same...

Most places are happy for the extra attention - its really the ones who are obviously dodgy they don't like and will spend money on going after. If you include a copyright disclaimer like the one suggested the worst they'll do is contact you and ask you to remove it.

Good luck with your site :)

Hi sverde - we have written WordPress plugins too and we found selling them instead on CanyonCode was a better alternative than trying to solely market them ourselves.

You still need to tweet about them and add them to your blog but at least they are getting regular traffic all the time.

Post Posted: July 6th, 2012, 11:04 pm

You do need to ensure that the box for contacts is ticked on your iTunes for it to carry it across. I'm sure you have sorted it now though.

It's very quiet around here. I wonder if its also got to do with social media like Facebook etc and the time of being on a forum is not what it used to be. Its true what Brian said about work though, that was when I mostly used to come here.

It really depends on the type of images you want to do. Illustrator is a vector program which means the image you create can be easily enlarged or reduced without compramising on the quality so its the best choice for logos. I currently use this on a few of my clients sites for a simple rotation of images. Animated gifs work nicely for non image stuff for a simple solution but if you require to use jpgs this works, I've used it with the fading and without.
