Thanks, I mostly use MacX Video Convertor now. I find it converts pretty much everything including some very random types of files :)

I love the iPhone but I detest how often they release new versions, that includes the iPad. I heard they also changed the plug too. We're upgrading soon but going from 4 to 4S because all our equipment uses the old plug and besides, the new 5 won't be available here until next year sometime.

I think its mostly to do with a change in the way we communicate now. Back in 2003 when I joined Ozzu the forum scene was huge. Then people moved away from forums to Facebook, Twitter and other "social media" networks to converse. The other thing is back in 2003 not as many people had thei...

It's a good idea if you have your own site and you want to also put the articles on other sites, to summarise the article on your own site and then link to the full one. Often you can be penalised if you duplicate content too much. Also, don't submit the same articles to multiple sites, for the same...

I've just recently done this myself. There are a number of ways, but I have found Joost's way the easiest. Check out: http://yoast.com/push-rel-author-head/

Happy birthday bro :D

Most places are happy for the extra attention - its really the ones who are obviously dodgy they don't like and will spend money on going after. If you include a copyright disclaimer like the one suggested the worst they'll do is contact you and ask you to remove it.

Good luck with your site :)

Bummed I missed this :) Let us know if you ever run it again :D

Hello horseman, when I first saw your image I was thinking I am sure I have seen this somewhere, but it was another image you posted many years ago that I remember. Its very interesting the expression on that face, what did you have in mind that he was thinking? In terms of religion and politics, I ...

I came across this article the other day and it had me laughing because there are so many points in there that drive me crazy! So if you are in the web design business check this out for a grin and if you are an aspiring web designer then I suggest you take a look at what not to do :D http://www.web...

I've been getting right into video tutes lately because a few projects I have require them for my users. Two examples I can give you that people pay a recurring charge each month to use (me included) are: http://www.WP101plugin.com (basically content from http://www.wp101.com) which walks users thro...

I understand wanting to cover your back on this one especially when you want to put time and effort into it. As long as you keep the stuff you post within the Fair Use requirements you won't get approached by anywhere. The infringements film companies are actively working to remove are the ones wher...

For an easy way burn them with iTunes. File > Burn Playlist to Disc > Disc Format: Audio CD I've added a couple of screenshots below its iTunes for Mac but I am sure Windows has similar if you are using that. Screen shot 2012-08-14 at 2.42.25 PM.png Screen shot 2012-08-14 at 2.42.39 PM.png

Hi sverde - we have written WordPress plugins too and we found selling them instead on CanyonCode was a better alternative than trying to solely market them ourselves.

You still need to tweet about them and add them to your blog but at least they are getting regular traffic all the time.

You do need to ensure that the box for contacts is ticked on your iTunes for it to carry it across. I'm sure you have sorted it now though.

It's very quiet around here. I wonder if its also got to do with social media like Facebook etc and the time of being on a forum is not what it used to be. Its true what Brian said about work though, that was when I mostly used to come here.

I had a friend send me his music on mp3 via this site, it was really easy to use. http://www.yousendit.com/

One huge stand out feature is the circles. I like the idea of putting different people I know into a circle and being able to moderate who sees what. This way I can intergrate work friends, close friends, family etc. Facebook forces me to tell people too much. If I want to create a group so I only p...

I prefer FB for connecting with people I am close with. I cut down my list to just pretty much my immediate circle of people I see in real life. Twitter I use to keep up with information on stuff I'm interested in and occasionally to put my opinion out there or share some random info that might be o...
