I'm all green and am learning flash on the fly.
If I link to wmv files within the project, will that speed things up?
I just redesigned http://www.grinnerhester.com and it's got some slow loadin...
I'm a video editor, not a web designer so any tips would be appriciated.

sorry for the basic question but I have noticed on the sites I build with flash, I have to click the page first then I can click the buttons I have created. Results in a double click, really. I have looked all over and can't figure out what it is I am doing that is causing this. any tips would be ap...

Since adding a forum to my site my bandwidth has gone downhill.
What sucks it down? I made a couple of tutorials with pics and figured that was it so I changed em to links. Didn't help. I'm brand new to this part of the world. Any advice on how to save as much as possible is appriciated.

I get great results for animated gifs in After Effects. They aren't pretty but as pretty as a gif can be.

Avid remains the industry standard. I work daily on an Avid Symphony. DS is the top of the line and Nitris will be pleasing folks soon. If your asking about XDV, you may want to look at Premiere Pro, Vegas and Final Cut Pro. There are many apps that cost less that are MUCH more powerful than XDV. If...
