I'd stick with old school 800 x 600 because a lot of people are buying cheap laptops from stores and the video cards are crappy so their resolutions isn't high. Another reason is from the factory, it may be set to 800 x 600 and the person that buys it may have no clue on how to change the resolutio...

I can almost uderstand needing the different domains for the search functionality but that could possibly be done directly via some sort of phpbb mod. As for the different styles you could either have a huge css file (depending on the number of different styles) or you could have multiple css files...

I've used godaddy for over a year as well, but with only 2 domains. I have lookded up an uncountless amount of domains, and have gone back to find theyre still there all the time. Thanks for the warning I suppose, but you need to check your sources!

I agree with Daemonguy 'in opinion'. I think *nix is better for hosting. It is much more secure and much less likely to malfunction or have any downtime due to operating system failure. It is generally more prepared for hosting.
