I was thinking of making it so I can add a comments link to the bottom of some of my pages, how hard would that be to set up? I have no coding experience really, so I don’t even know where to start. This is a “just for fun” project. If someone who can’t really get the hand of code try this…and how d...

Wouldn't having such huge rollovers make the size of the page rather large? I mean the point of thumb nails is so the user doesn't have to wait for all the images to load, they can just click the ones they want. If you really hate the idea of the user leaving the page, you can use frames I suppose. ...

Just a slacker/student at a local jr. college (college of the canyons) I'm starting to think that I can't make it in web design alone, and have to branch out more into general Graphic Design classes. (And probably programming too, blah) My job for now is getting paid to cook and clean the house so m...

Naw, Like I said, I *almost* did it. But I sort of guessed that anything free usually comes with a price. This was a few years ago too, when domains had *just* gotten over being $35, and were down to the low price of only $15. (Annnd you could register them without paying first, hehe, that was a sil...

Dear god, I love those eyes, the middle one is fantastic! I’ve always enjoys looking at eyes. I had a folder, which was covered in 100’s of eyes... big and small, from all magazines I could get my hands on. High-quality girlish magazines eyes. My favorite eyes were the ones from full-page color cont...

The drool on the hand add a nice touch, don’t you think?

Post Posted: January 27th, 2004, 11:32 pm

Hee, I feel flattered that you remember me b_heyer, I really am. Anyhow, domains are disgustingly cheap nowadays, godaddy is generally what I use, and it’s only about (rounded) $9.00 per domain. A few years ago I remember someone trying to give out free domains and I almost signed up. Thank God I di...

Any "free" hosting i've gotten in the past usually kills itself off after a while and then sells your email to every spam-nazi there is.

Post Posted: January 26th, 2004, 6:13 pm

From what i've seen, its mostly taking the pen tool in photoshop and taking your time to pretty much "copy" over a photo. You could probably do it any of the art-programs that you have, don't think you have to run out and buy a certain one to get that effect. I'm in a class right now...but when I ge...

I think it all really depends on what you're trying to do. My goal is to try and be a web designer, not a coder. I'll probably have to kick myself and learn a little asp and php one of these days, but as of now I’m just twiddling in Photoshop. This is where programs like dreamweaver come in handy. I...

If you're using a 3 megapix. camera I can't see how they can make poster size image look just as good as something you take with a normal camera. And I would think even with a 35mm film a poster sized picture would start to distort just a little (more so depending what sort of film you're using) Dit...

Well i'm developing my film tomorrow, I'll post my pictures then. I also had a ditigal camera with me, so although I didn't get any cool photos of the trees I did get one of the sky and come coyotes that were running bye. When I get home i'll post them

Post Posted: December 2nd, 2003, 5:17 pm

Ditigal is nice, really nice. I like because once I buy the camera, it costs me nothing more to look at my pictures. I think that once someone gets good at taking pictures, they should go to 35mm (or film or choice) I really wanted to take a dit. Photography class, but it doesn't count to my AA degr...

Actually when I saw that the tree-time project wasn't going to look good, I did use the rest of the film to take pictures of the parts of the tree...close..far. There were two trees I was sort of found of, so I pretty much used my whole roll of flim (36) between the two.

For my photography (black and white) class I have to turn in a 4 - 8 photo series. I am totally and utterly stumped on what to do it on. Anyone want to throw a little advice at me, or perhaps point to some examples to help inspire me. I was going to take a picture of a tree..same spot..same look...a...

Eeep, True, I just elaborated it a bit more. I was just more specific on why he shouldn’t have put %7 and what it does to the page when it's a % and not a fixed cell.

Post Posted: September 15th, 2003, 8:57 am

The reason it looks so funky is larger sizes is because your corner cells are set at 7%. When the resolution becomes lager, so does that 7%. Your cells become bigger while your images remains the same. You need to change the 7% to a “40” so the cells are same size as your images. Then go to your men...

What do you mean? If it happened to the child, then it’s really happening to the parents. I mean she’s underage, anything that she does wrong “legally” isn’t her fault, it’s her parents. Her parents paid the $2,000, she didn’t. What could they possibly have done differently?

Arrgghhhh bad mental picture...bad, bad, bad!

Of course...because 12 year olds are above the law?? Yes, it is actually sort of silly to sue a 12 year old, but they were still breaking the law. Although I would of thought the RIAA would try to avoid such an embarrassment, but I guess they rather set an example. I just thought it was stupid that ...

Hmm, I’ve never thought to test my site on a laptop before. But if you’re settings are set so that the text %25 larger, no wonder it looks awful. I need to learn CSS and their ways of dealing with text, so I don’t have this problem..Bah And yes..I misspelled it. I actually kept it after I noticed it...

Hey! My friend sent me a link to your site about a month ago. I have your Harry Blogger as my background right now. Dear god, the goldfish video…siiiick. What's the story with that?

Post Posted: September 12th, 2003, 9:51 pm

You know, no matter how cheap they make CDs, MOST people would still rather rip-off the music then pay for it. I think what the they're doing to people is somewhat wrong, but I have no delusions that what I am doing isn't wrong as well.

But with just that once person off to the side, it really add to just how BIG the "Flamingo Stabile" really is. I mean it's perfect where they're standing, looking slightly up. Very nice.

Wait…44? 1969 for the moon-walk right? That’s not *that* old Bigweb, Heh. Naw, I’m in graphic design. Actually not even that! It’s a local 2-year community college (ha, and this is my third year), and Design isn’t a big demand there, so I have to really apply for a General Ed AA degree because they ...

Oh they know it’s not real, they’re not that dense. Some just get really angry when people find animals getting hurt a funny thing. Some seem to think that if we can laugh at that, then we must be heartless bastards, and that it’s the commercials fault or something. Tsk.

It’s not hard, I bet next time I wont be nearly so incompetent! I’m doing it for a beginning photograph class. I have no idea how to use a camera other then pointing a clicking, and thought it would be a good class to take (That and %90 of my other classes wont count towards my AA degree, this will)...

Out of all of those I’ve only seen Battle Royale. It was somewhat disturbing, but then again Jr. High kids slaughing each other usually is. I think because it’s “Banned” or whatnot makes people want to see it more. Go see Audition, end ending it hard to watch, very very hard. *shudders* I mean Battl...

Bravo, that was good. It’s even better knowing that lots of animal rights activist will be sending angry letters. I’m sure those till be entertaining unto themselves.
